All content will be available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

We have a unique opportunity in this life.

Through the wisdom and practical training of Buddha’s teachings, we can begin to awaken to the essence of who we really are, the sky-like pure awareness that underlines the whole of life and death. This is the true purpose and highest goal of meditation. It is the quintessence of opening the heart through love and compassion. And it is the ultimate blessing of the path of invocation and prayer. Coming to know our true nature in every moment through transforming mind and heart is the key to freedom and lasting happiness of enlightenment.

In these recordings from the retreat in Australia, Patrick Gaffney will teach and guide us in the profound practices that are the essence of Buddha’s teachings, drawn from his teacher Sogyal Rinpoche and Rinpoche’s book, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.

Many of us know the quality and depth of Patrick’s teachings, guided practices and contemplations, whether in person or online, and can appreciate how precious it is to be able to take part in a full event with him. Without doubt, this promises to be a highlight for the whole Rigpa sangha this year.
