No one gets satisfaction in samsara, not even Prince Siddhartha (who became Buddha Shakyamuni). He was a human being just like us, experiencing suffering and searching for something. But Siddhartha didn't find the path to awakening because of his great faith in religion but because of his questioning mind.
The Buddhist path—the journey begins with questioning, not with the answers …
In this teaching Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche recounts the story of the Buddha's search for awakening and shares some key points from the Buddha's teachings (from the Foundation and Mahayana teachings).
